Selank

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is structurally based on the naturally occurring immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), with the addition of a Pro-Gly-Pro tripeptide sequence designed to improve metabolic stability against aminopeptidase degradation.
