BAC Water (Bacteriostatic Water)

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is USP-grade sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth, allowing the solution to be used for multiple withdrawals from the same container — a critical requirement when reconstituting lyophilised peptides for serial laboratory experiments. BAC Water is the standard reconstitution solvent referenced in peptide research protocols and is compatible with the majority of lyophilised peptide compounds. Each vial contains 3ml and is sealed with a septum cap for sterile needle access. Supplied for laboratory research use only.
