GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)

GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide)

£40.00

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide first isolated from human plasma by Dr Loren Pickart in 1973. With a molecular weight of approximately 403.9 Da, GHK-Cu forms a high-affinity complex with copper(II) ions and has been the subject of over 50 years of published research. Studies have investigated its role in extracellular matrix remodelling, collagen synthesis gene expression, and decorin upregulation in fibroblast culture models. Gene profiling studies identified GHK as capable of modulating the expression of over 4,000 human genes.
