CJC-1295 without DAC (also known as Modified GRF 1-29) is a 29-amino-acid synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It features four amino acid substitutions (at positions 2, 8, 15, and 27) engineered to increase metabolic stability and resistance to dipeptidyl peptidase-IV (DPP-IV) cleavage. Unlike the DAC-conjugated variant, CJC-1295 no DAC does not bind to serum albumin, resulting in a shorter research-relevant half-life that more closely mimics the pulsatile nature of endogenous GHRH signalling. Published studies have explored its interaction with GHRH receptor (GHRHR) binding kinetics, pituitary somatotroph cell line stimulation assays, and GH secretion profiling models. Supplied as a >99% purity lyophilised powder.
